Everything carries both physical weight and an unseen one that comes from the past. Unlike those stitched into words, the meanings of objects can change depending on the seasons. A rabbit, desperate for safety, finds it in a sea of petals. A man, desperate for safety, doubts he'll find it there. Another, desperate for beauty, finds them both where they hide. Merene Ash was once a small-town girl who fled for the infinite. A wandering heart with an insatiable quest, she can tell you very little about herself. However, she can tell you that she believes in love, which means also believing in grief. And so, she writes about it passionately and unceasingly in the shadow of Lake Michigan.
