Poetry expresses the deepest thoughts and feelings of our souls. It empowers us when seeking a goal, encourages us to stay in control, and enlightens us toward being, made whole. I've always been fascinated with poems. As a child, I would cut them from old books, magazines, and newspaper articles and paste them into my own special poem book. When I got older, I began to write my own poems. I couldn't wait for special occasions like Christmas and birthdays to give them, as gifts to my family and friends!
Although Enlighten Your Life, one of my previous books, works wonderfully as a motivational book, I wanted to have all my poems compiled into one volume; therefore, my third book, Poems for Hungry Souls: 101 Spiritual Poems, was conceived.
