Provoke is a 21st Century translation of circumstance by a 24-year old. Poetry is not only his tool of self-exploration, but also a rearview mirror. The essence of this book is vulnerability. The author attempt to take emotion, one or several at a time, and explore all respective contextual dimensions.
His experience has been documented on several stages across the Middle East (UAE, Oman, Egypt) and he believed it was time to put pen to paper.
The very nature of his writings revolves around one central idea: descriptive detail. The author believes we passively react to those things that relate to us, but also actively react to those things that resemble us. The aim is to expose every familiar angle, bump, and sentiment that passes through any concept discussed in the pieces within this book. The reader will notice several mood shifts that very much resemble the author's daily ups and downs; similar to some personal psychological turbulence. The author hopes the reader leaves this book with an innate desire to heal.
