Film rights to Mike's non-fiction book "A Death in the Islands: The Unwritten Law and the Last Trial of Clarence Darrow" have been optioned by two of the screenwriters of the Disney box office hit "Moana," who also wrote and co-produced the recent feature film "Adrift." In addition to writing in his retirement, Mike is a book reviewer for the New York Journal of Books and is an adjunct professor of Constitutional Law at The University of Texas at Arlington.
