Summer of the Stranger

Johnny Desmond is a teenager in a small Oklahoma town who becomes friends with a stranger, a once famous outlaw who is looking for revenge. As the days pass, Johnny begins to realize that his grandfather, a retired lawman, or a family friend, the preacher, may be the outlaws target. An exciting tale set against the backdrop of a time when the Klan terrorized innocent people and the old west was becoming a fading memory. Sonny Collins is the author of over 40 books, anthologies, poetry books, as well as the songwriter for the SONNY COLLINS Ghost Band. He is an avid wilderness explorer, spelunker, photographer, history buff and storyteller.
