Surviving the Storms

A celebration of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. A collection of heart-warming sea rescue stories, historic and contemporary, from RNLI stations across the UK and Ireland. It will shed light on the terrifying experiences of the rescued, as well as the bravery and commitment of the RNLI volunteers who began saving lives in the 1820s and who continue to reunite an average of 22 people per day with their loved ones.
