Nobody knows for sure how Rickety Sue got her name, or how she became known as a frightening old lady!
Those who live near the woods and the ridge where her little ramshackle cabin stands now can only share stories of what they have heard. Stories like she wasn't always a scary old woman, but once was married to a fine young man, and even had two children. However, something tragic happened in her life that changed her forever.
This is the story of Rickety Sue's early years- when she was a happy, young girl, growing up with special friends...one in particular!
