When Detective Will Sears arrives at the scene of an apparent suicide in the woods, his gut tells him something is off. It's staged to look like a suicide, but Will suspects foul play. This marks the third such suspicious death in recent months-is a serial killer on the loose? Assistant District Attorney Maggie Sears is finally ready to have dinner with her estranged husband, Will. Their date is interrupted when Maggie's brother who suffers from schizophrenia crashes into the restaurant ranting about a murderer he calls "The Gladiator". When evidence links Maggie's brother to the serial murders, Will and Maggie must find him before he hurts someone else.
