About

In this book, you will learn a wide variety of teaching techniques and strategies for teaching children from ages 4-11. The book is full of lesson plans, games and activities for current or aspiring teachers who are teaching children at kindergarten and early primary grade levels and whose first language is other than English. It is the foundation of a second language instruction course and was developed to meet the ever-increasing demand for qualified ESL teachers of young children in non-English speaking countries around the world. It combines elements of Early Childhood Education (ECE) and teaching children a second language. I am Canadian. Over the past 30 years, I have spent more than half teaching English and other subjects in Thailand. I have also taught business subjects in Canada at St. Lawrence College and as a guest lecturer at Seneca College, Toronto. At the same time, I have taught online business courses for the Canadian School of Management, International Management Centres (UK), Revans University, Boulder, CO, USA and Les Roches Hospitality School in Bluche, Switzerland.I am also an artist, working mostly in oils and acrylics, educational volunteer, and speaker I am also a platinum author on Ezinearticles.com.
