About

Enter the world of wonder and possibilities. All that you need do is suspend your idea of reality and believe. In Scotland, things like ghosts, fairies and second sight (seeing the future or other places) are not strange or silly notions. Our national animal is a unicorn, so how can we not believe in magic?Join Choo-Choo, MacPuff, Nessie, and a host of friends on their adventures along the Highland and West Highland railway lines of Scotland. Along the railroad lines are magical places where the impossible is quite normal. We all need a little Faerie dust to fall in our lives. The Scottish version has been sprinkled freely on our characters and their human friends. G. B. Carmichael is a child of the "Fabulous Fifties," a mother of three and grandmother of seven. She is retired from full-time employment and now lives on the south coast of England in a townoverlooking the English Channel. Her diverse life experiences have included working in a prison and owning her own Highland regalia shop. This is her fourth book overall and her second anthology.
