About

On the morning of Tuesday June 27, 2000, students of the local high school woke up to some devastating news. At around 9 a.m., a student was cycling down the road when a car rammed into her. When the news broke, parents began calling each other to pass on the tragic news. Magi Bish received a call a few minutes after the accident, and she walked into her daughter Molly's room to pass on the news. Molly seemed shaken up, but looked at her watch and realized that she was going to be late if she did not begin preparing immediately. This was her 8th day working at Comins Pond as a lifeguard, and she needed to be there early. It was the first day of swimming lessons, and she needed to be fully prepared. Since she had to be at least 16-and-a-half to drive on her own, Magi settled in the passenger seat as she always did. The two drove to the convenient store first to pick up bottled water. The surveillance footage in the store showed the two of them paying for the water at 9:50 a.m. Molly then drove to Warren Police Station to pick up the 2-way radio that lifeguards needed in case of an emergency. The pond was located in a remote location, and was surrounded by thick woods. Since there were no phones nearby, lifeguards were handed the radio instead. Molly and Magi walked out of the station shortly after and headed towards the pond. At around 10 a.m., Molly parked the car near the lifeguards station and begun collecting her items from the car. She then told her mother she loved her before walking away. Soon after, Magi drove off and headed back home.

It would be the last time she would see Molly again... What happened to Molly Ann Bish?
