All of this comes to a head when one of his shipmates: another expat from the Sovereign Coalition, tells Dev that Nolan's plans could be used to upset the balance of power in the Coalition, and has set the organization on a path to war. A subsequent attack on a Coalition Space Station seems to confirm these predictions, drawing the crew of the Mettle into a conspiracy they want no part of.
Despite wanting to stay out of the Coalition's politics, the crew is pulled into the middle of the storm and it will be up to Dev to find a way out, before they're all either arrested or killed.
