Though our experiences as earthly parents lead to an understanding of God's parental nature, we may not understand the reason for God's answer just as our children may not understand the answers we give them. My purpose in writing this study guide is to explore how the examples in the book, The God of Apple Juice and Spilled Milk, may lead to an understanding of God's parental nature. The development of trust is our goal. I believe it is God's goal also.
