Hilary arrives in the south of France and falls in love with Marc who does some information gathering for the CIA. With the assistance of Mossad he becomes involved in a plan to help Maxim , a Russian atomic scientist, defect to the West. Following a trip to Moscow and a murder in an Art Gallery plans are made to ship Maxim out of Iraq in a container ship. A disagreement between Mossad and the CIA leads to a last minute change of plans with catastrophic results
