About

President Thomas Jefferson spent several years editing the Holy Bible to extract the Moral Teachings of Jesus. He only shared his document with several close friends during his lifetime. His book was rediscovered and restored by the Smithsonian Insitute. This eBook provides a copy of the original text which is late 1700's English and then a copy using the NABRE (North American Bible Revised Edition) to bring in modern English. This should allow the reader to bring the teachings into a more modern reading experience. There is one more section at the end with some highlights on Thomas Jefferson's life. This section is not a detailed analysis but provides a little overview into one of the United States great historical figures.
