The Matching Myths contains 4 interactive short stories (~1,000 words each) with images, meant to be read to young children. After reading a short section, there will usually be a picture and the child has the chance to recognize/pick out the element that does or doesn't match. For example, The Twin Tigers is about finding a magical tiger toy that's identical to another (to lift a magical curse). The pictures show people who try to trick you by showing a toy that almost looks the same ... but something is different. The entire book is written in verse ("rhyme"). It also contains many high-resolution images; that's why it's a large file to download. It is part of the fun and educational stories of The Wayward Melody, and focused on the skills of matching and visual discrimination.
