For seven long years, Will Dodd had held a grudge against Wells Fargo. After he'd lost his home in a right-of-way dispute, he figured they owed him plenty. So when he heard that the company was about to transport a precious golden eagle worth a quarter-million dollars all the way to New Mexico, he made up his mind to steal it. It wasn't just for the money, though the money would be sweet. Brett Waring is better known as Keith Hetherington who has penned hundreds of westerns (the figure varies between 600 and 1000) under the names Hank J Kirby and Kirk Hamilton. Keith also worked as a journalist for the Queensland Health Education Council, writing weekly articles for newspapers on health subjects and radio plays dramatising same. Wells Fargo hero Clay Nash appearing in each yarn as an undercover agent for the stage-line.
