The Seven Deadly Needs

Edward Bear was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Los Angeles. Early adventures included a brief stint in minor-league baseball, too many years in construction, day labor and other dead-end jobs. A correspondence course in engineering landed him a job at Hewlett-Packard, where he was employed for nearly thirty years. Mr. Bear lived in the Rocky Mountains with his wife, played a vintage Martin guitar, and wrote. He died in 2006.
