Inspired by the author's own experience in the British Armed Forces and following in the footsteps of characters like James Bond and Jack Reacher, Terry Nolan is an off-the-books MI5 operative whose undercover network is about to be blown wide open.
Code named "The Vicar," Terry Nolan has been running a number of agents, or parishioners, through a network that stretches across the Eastern Seaboard as they look into Americans suspected of supplying arms to the New Irish Republican Army (NIRA).
But when he's attacked in Boston Harbor by NIRA assassins, Nolan realizes his identity has been betrayed, and his other parishioners might be in danger too. Soon he discovers all his agents have gone missing, save one. As he races to New York City to save the last parishioner, Nolan calls in a few favors, and learns this plot is bigger than he ever expected.
