The Visitor, a Haunting Yarn of Insomnia

Young Julio goes to bed every night terrified of a spectral entity that snatches engaging souls and takes them into a frightening realm, never to be seen again. Julio learns how to avoid capture by the ghost but finds that protecting others from its deathly clutches is exceedingly difficult. When a close friend is taken by the creature, Julio vows to avenge his lost companion and if possible, rescue them from damnation.
