About

Originally published in 1893, this compilation of twelve dozen stories of Divine support and intervention portrays a picture of a faithful and loving God and His involvement in our lives when we trust Him.

From the preface, "It is needless to say much by way of preface to this book. It will speak for itself. From the writer's standpoint, none but those 'given over to hardness of heart' can read these 'Touching Incidents' without having their souls wondrously stirred within them; and none but the willfully unbelieving can say, in view of the 'Remarkable Answers to Prayer' herein recorded, that God does not hear and regard the cries of his faithful children."

S. B. (Solomon Benjamin) Shaw was a Methodist Episcopal minister, author, and editor of the Michigan Holiness Record. He is also known for his book, The Great Revival in Wales.
