About

This ebook describes a horrible life event that happened to me. I went through a painful and unfair process, finding myself in a situation where I felt alone and vulnerable. If it weren't for my family and friends, I don't think I could have survived. Before this event, I was a normal person with a job, a family, and happiness. Now, I still have all of that, but it doesn't feel the same. I always wonder when one thing might go wrong and mess everything up. Through this book, I aim to share my personal view on how a normal trip to visit my family after five years turned into a nightmare. I also explore how I found the justice system in the U.S. is not always based on the idea that everyone is equal before the law, and how everyone is presumed innocent unless proven otherwise
