About

Happy, productive, successful employees make companies they work for productive and successful. Everyone benefits since such companies will become better, more pleasant-and even fun-places to work.

Working for Companies: Insights and Stories for Professionals Who Want to Work in Industry gives people an idea of what to expect at each stage of their careers, including how to get hired into the right company and how to move to a different job or company mid-career. It suggests things employees might do to be happy, productive and successful. The book is full of stories (some funny), insights and conversations that exemplify what really goes on in industry. These should benefit both those who want to work for companies and those who already work in them. Leveraging the stories, insights and experiences related in this book should lead to better employees and better companies.
