About

In a dream that starts to happen, an ex-con, Warren William sets out to exact revenge on a young small town man (Jimmy Lydon) and his widowed mother for being sent to jail by their recently deceased father and husband, a judge. Using a new name, he enters their lives, becoming a love interest of the mother (Sally Eilers), but once it's discovered the son is aware of the plot, the ex-con, along with assistance, plan to take him out in some manner. As the son and his co-conspirator, psychology professor (Regis Toomey) unmask the mystery behind the death of the judge, the full understanding of the sinister scheme perpetuated on the family and the level of intent is revealed. The photography is low key and moody. This fairly stylish film is well paced
