Daryl Tate's grandma is known for being kind of a cat person. But when one of her brood of furry felines disappears, the Bog Hollow Boys join the hunt.

Brothers Austin and Ethan Finch know their way around a body of water. After all, their daddy is Ranger Finch, the man in charge of Bog Hollow State Park. But when some of the fish start dying off and no one can figure it out, the Bog Hollow Boys find themselves in water that may just be over their heads.

When people's pets start dying off, some blame it on the pet snake of Nellie Tibbits, the Northern new girl in this Southern town. Having recently joined up with the Bog Hollow Boys, Nellie must deal with poisonous attitudes to prove that she and her snake are not only innocent, but friendly.

Someone's messing with the buzzards at Bog Hollow State Park. Luckily, the Bog Hollow Boys are on the case. Will they uncover the mystery of the bullied buzzards, or will their feathers get ruffled?
