Morgan isn't happy where she boards. She doesn't ride her mare, who is pasture sound after her racing career, and between not being able to do groundwork and the barn cliques who look down on those who don't ride, her boarding barn just isn't a good fit. She's been thinking about purchasing her own place where she can keep her horse, Desi. When Desi turns up lame, Morgan knows it is time to get serious. Her friend shares a real estate listing for a farm for sale not far from the rescue they both run together, and it seems like fate has intervened. Once Morgan owns the property, the true extent of the property's disrepair comes to light, and she fears she's gotten in over her head. For her mare, Desi, she'll do whatever it takes to bring her home, and so she'll have to trust that the heart guides the way.
