About

The Doctor returns, alongside newlyweds Amy and Rory, to face more monsters, mysteries and adventures all across time and space. Together they find themselves in Sixties America, battling the invasion the world forgot, then journey on the high seas of 1696 aboard a pirate ship, to solve the mystery of the Siren. An old friend with a new face awaits the Doctor at the edge of reality and he faces his darkest hour at the battle of Demon's Run. Only two things are certain. Silence will fall. And a good man is going to die.

The Doctor, Amy and Rory receive a secret summons that leads them to the Oval Office in 1969. Enlisting the help of a former FBI agent and the irrepressible River Song, the Doctor promises to assist the President in saving a terrified little girl from a mysterious Space Man.

A solar tsunami sends the TARDIS hurtling towards a factory on earth where human doppelgangers are used to mine dangerous acid. A second > wave hits and the 'Gangers' separate. Can the Doctor prevent an all out civil war between the humans and the 'almost people' before the factory explodes?

6. The Almost People

As the solar storm rages and the factory crumbles, a Ganger driven mad by the memories of being 'decommissioned' is seeking revenge. The Doctor must convince the terrified factory workers to embrace their own humanity and work together with their Gangers to overcome a monster of their own making.
