Friends: The Next Chapter - Season 2

Aliya, Nova, Autumn, and Leo team-up to compete in a science fair. The winning team's idea will actually be incorporated into Olivia's next mission to space. While Candi runs the opposing team, the real competition is between Aliya and Nova, who inadvertently tank their own project. In an unexpected twist, their competition leads them to a new invention that ultimately wins the science fair.

After Liann gives lucky charms to Zac and Aliya, stressed-out Leo becomes desperate for one to help prevent Candi from bullying him during soccer. Ultimately, it's Autumn's advice that gives Leo the courage to confront Candi, but with the addition of Liann's charm, the confrontation goes too well: Candi now wants Leo as a best friend with hints of a budding romance!

After Aliya offends Autumn's abilities, she overreacts and ends up hurting herself and landing in the hospital. Meanwhile a boy that Liann babysits also ends up in the hospital. There, major chaos caused by Nurse Fifi, Churro, and Pickle. In the end, the doctor, with Nova's help, convinces Autumn to get a prosthetic arm.

After Zac lies to his dad, he is forced to find a job. Autumn uses her new prosthetic. Liann tries to figure out who Ley-La is. Olly pushes Paisley out of her performance comfort zone, but she doesn't say anything and ends up deeply sad. Zac discovers she's Ley-La, and he encourages her to speak up. She tells him she can't - she doesn't want to ruin his dream of being a famous costume designer.

Olly recognizes that being Ley-La's costume designer is his big chance. Paisley asks Zac to help her dance. Obsessed, Aliya and Liann decide to become undercover detectives posing as reporters. Zac discovers their clue board and, wanting to protect Paisley's secret identity, he destroys it. At the end of the concert, Aliya and Liann find one key clue: Ley-La's guitar pick.

Trying to win an online challenge, Nova pranks her friends. Upset by her pranks, Autumn convinces them they need to teach Nova a lesson. Later, when things begin to get really scary, Nova confesses to deliberately scaring them - but there's a catch. She was scaring them before, but not anymore! Autumn reveals that she was the secret scarer - they agree that Autumn was the ultimate fright master!

Olly's obsession with fame is too much for Paisley. Zac is loyal to Paisley: he thwarts Aliya and Liann's efforts to figure out who Ley-La is; he helps Paisley avoid Olly; and he confronts Olly, telling him he's not listening to Paisley. Olly explodes, irritated that he doesn't see the pressure Olly is under. It's clear that he's wrapped up in fame and doesn't see what he's doing to Paisley.

Everyone gives Zac advice on getting Sky to like him; and he can't act normally around her! Ley-La is invited to an upcoming competition, Battle of the Stars. Olly tries to tell Paisley, but she avoids him. Paisley and Zac make a pact to tackle their problems head on: Paisley will confront Olly, and Zac will confess his feelings to Sky. In the end, Olly stands Paisley up at their old treehouse.

Andrea's "Battle of the Stars" competition begins. The whole town is excited except Paisley, who finally tells Ollie to stop forcing her to be someone she isn't. Ollie gets it and apologizes. Paisley surprises him by performing. She lets him know that it's because she isn't being forced to be someone she isn't - she's being her true self. She removes her wig and sings her heart out. She wins!
