When Lucy Carter (Lucille Ball) discovers her boss and brother-in-law, Harrison Carter (Gale Gordon) is planning a lavish teenage party for the daughter of his best client, she promoted the musical services of her son, Craig (DESI ARNAZ), and daughter, Kim (LUCIE ARNAZ). Although Craig, a drummer, shows up with his band, Kim, a singer, comes down with a fast case of laryngitis which forces widow Carter to become a very “Mod, Mod Lucy.”
