Dead knights washing up on the shoreline? Not so much. When a figure dressed like he's from Arthurian England winds up in the city morgue, Chloe sets out to investigate. Soon she hears rumors telling of a very special sword reported to be in the city. The mighty Excalibur has reached New England, and there is no shortage of people willing to kill to obtain it. One in particular is keeping her awake at night. Chloe had better buckle up and buckle down, because all sources seem to agree: Merlin is coming to Boston.

The paranormal? It's all nonsense, but proving it might get her killed. Chloe Mayfield has found herself in some tight spots before, but a full-on war? That's new territory for her. Branded a terrorist and enemy of the United Fairy Commonwealth, she's under fire from every direction, and there is no shortage of people eager to take advantage of the chaos, including a murderer who stalks the streets of Boston, killing in the name of Blue Moon. It's up to Chloe to restore order to her city, and if she can't do it soon, then she'll have no choice but to offer up her unconditional surrender.
