Mientras un joven periodista redacta un artículo de fondo sobre sesudas cuestiones de actualidad, las circunstancias de su vida y su estado de ánimo van condicionado su mirada. Como siempre, el autor presenta personajes humanos y verosímiles, y mezcla con humor temas serios con las pequeñas cosas que tanto importan. Además, como en otros cuentos, el autor da rienda suelta a su creatividad y aborda cuestiones que tanto le interesaron siempre, como el amor o la denuncia de una sociedad anquilosada, cuya necesaria regeneración pasa por la rebeldía juvenil.
