Majestic Falls Christmas

Broken furnace? Check.Blizzard? Check.Moose? Yes, check.Running away from my problems? Yeah…that's a check, too.I've never been altogether lucky, but somehow, on Christmas eve, I land right where I'm supposed to be. Fantastic! Except, the arms that make me feel so safe are several hundred miles from my home. I'm only on vacation in Majestic Falls, and soon, I'll have to go back to my real life.But who knows? Christmas is a time for surprises. But so far, nothing's gone as I've expected. I'm wishing on a lucky moose to get exactly what I never knew I wanted.

What were my plans this holiday season?Not inheriting a candy store from an estranged relative. Not being adopted by a town far from home. And not having unexpected feelings for the guy who's been taking care of the shop until I could get there.This is a Christmas like no other.To be clear, I have no intention of staying. I have a job, and it's not running a sweets shop in Majestic Falls, deep in the heart of the Adirondacks. I don't even know how to bake. Making candy? That will be a disaster. And can I ignore my feelings for the people here or the man who enchants me from day one?Especially, how am I supposed to say goodbye and go back home when home feels like the arms of the man I wasn't looking for?
