Willow Shaw was a 23-year-old woman who lived a relatively privileged life, thanks to a young street legend named O'Bannon who promised to take care of her after her mother was sent to prison for murder. The catch was that he made Willow promise to always remain loyal to him. But Willow didn't care what he demanded of her because she was in love with him. O'Bannon James was a successful street king who had worked his way up to the top of the food chain because he was known as a certified hustler. He was feared by many of his enemies because of his ruthless way of doing business. However, all of his homies and the people in his hood loved him dearly. After making so much money in the streets, he partners with his wife, Patsy, to make some legitimate money and they easily become successful together, promoting local talent. The only problem is that he runs the risk of losing out on time with Willow, his secret obsession. Cypher aka Jesse White is an up and coming rapper who had just signed a million dollar deal. When Cypher is sent to O'Bannon's town as a favor to his manager, he runs into the lovely Willow and his fate is changed forever. But will he be able to handle everything that comes with falling for O'Bannon's secret flame?

Willow left town to go on tour with Cypher. She didn't have a chance to talk to JD before she left, but their lust-filled night still lingered in her mind. She wasn't quite ready to deal with her feelings toward him, and being with Cypher was the perfect distraction she needed. Willow wasn't sure about the intentions that Cypher kept politicking about, and his actions while on tour caused her to question not only his intentions toward her, but whether or not he was really a gangsta. Cypher was excited to have his new bae on tour with him, but not everyone shared his sentiment. Indigo was jealous as hell and made it her personal mission to disrupt Cypher and Willow's plans to have a good time. She planned on using the information that Shaggy armed her with to expose Cypher as a fake studio gangster to Willow. However, an incident that occurred at the end of the tour made Willow take a second look at Cypher and question her feelings for him. O'Bannon was in rage that Willow helped JD jump him. JD had been a thorn in his side ever since he started taking care of Willow. O'Bannon always thought it was puppy love between them, but the older they got, he started to notice he was mistaken. He planned on convincing Willow that it would be a mistake if she continued to play this silly little game, and the only obstacle that was standing in his way, as he saw it, was JD. Having Willow out of town for a few weeks gave him time to plot and plan how he was going to get her back. Taking out JD was top priority, but to JD, taking O'Bannon out was necessary! It was obvious that Willow was the one person on everyone's priority list, but there was only one gangsta that she wanted.

Things have gotten crazy in St. Louis, and they're about to get even crazier in California! Willow was pissed off at JD for fleeing and leaving her behind after she'd saved his life from O'Bannon. She thought that running to Cypher would be the best bet considering she might be facing vehicular manslaughter charges, but honestly, all she wanted to do was make it back to JD. O'Bannon is laid up in the hospital after being broken into little pieces like the man with glass bones. His unfortunate obsession with Willow has caused him to lose all touch with reality. Patsy is getting tired of his disloyalty, and she continues to blame Willow for her problems. However, after some direct scrutiny and a reality check by Granny, Patsy started to realize that she might have made a mistake. Cypher was so excited that Willow decided to come to California. He didn't care what type of trouble she was in because the only thing that mattered was the fact that she was with him. She tried to be honest by telling him that she was pregnant.
