Wuthering Frights
by Tony Lewis
Part 3 of the Skullenia (Lewis) series
What happened to Grendle The Shopkeeper? Narrowly missing a splat of ectoplasm - or Bernard, as he was more commonly known - Ronnie entered the shop to the clanging of the little silver bell. His brow furrowed as he absently scratched his cheek. Grendle the shopkeeper always came out after the tolling of the first bell. Always. Later on, the local press interviews the Skullenian residents after an incident at the fountain: a happy young couple has discovered a cadaver while taking a moonlit stroll through the cemetery. What links the strange events? Is anything else going to happen? Can I write any more of this nonsense without giving the game away? Someone's going to have find out what's going on, and in Skullenia that can only mean one thing: Ollie and the boys have another puzzle to solve.

The Quest for the Bone Idol
by Tony Lewis
Part 4 of the Skullenia (Lewis) series
Yo ho ho, shiver me timbers, and other pirate-related sayings. After Stitches wins a competition at The Bolt and Jugular, Ollie and the boys take a well-deserved break from the detective agency. As they embark on a cruise, it seems like fate might be finally smiling down on them. But what begins as a relaxing holiday turns into a voyage of intrigue and mayhem on the high seas, as the intrepid explorers get in a mystery involving a strange relic, a dangerous enemy, and a rather bawdy crew of pirates with interesting beards. Will Flug ever stop being seasick - and can Ollie & the gang unravel the mystery of the Bone Idol? I was born in Cardiff, South Wales in September 1967. My earliest memories are starting at Gladstone Primary School (amazing I can remember that far back when I can't go to the kitchen and recall what I went in there for), although I wasn't there for very long as my parents moved house (I wished they'd told me. It took me ages to find them).Within hours of the realisation that I should write my own funny story, I had the first pages done and the main characters formed. It was as if they'd been waiting in some dark recess at the back of my mind for all that time (and there was me thinking the voices were a bad thing). And so here we are. Obviously, humour is very subjective and isn't ever going to be as popular as crime or thriller stories because we don't all laugh at the same things, but I'm happy doing what I'm doing because it pleases me and I think that's the most important thing (apart from food, water and oxygen of course. They're quite important). Skullenia, a series of humorous fantasy by Tony Lewis.

A Witch In Time
by Tony Lewis
Part 5 of the Skullenia (Lewis) series
It's games night over at Mrs. Ladle's. Despite it being slightly more fun than a visit to a 12th century dentist, Stitches doesn't want to go. Tonight, Mrs. Ladle has promised them something special: a game that hasn't been played for a very long time. One that's bound to make the evening fly by. This could be the start of another adventure, crammed with intrigue and weirdness, and packed full of derring-do and never-before chronicled acts of heroism and bravery. Ollie and his ever-faithful crew travel with Mrs. Ladle to somewhere very strange indeed, where you'll learn things such as: Why the forest is a bit of an odd place, What a witch keeps up her sleeve, And why there seems to be poo everywhere.

Intensive Scare
by Tony Lewis
Part 6 of the Skullenia (Lewis) series
Doctor, doctor, I feel like reading a funny book.I'd put this back then.Rude.A psychic message, a slightly portly medium, missing residents, and a strange glow can only mean one thing. Something is happening in Skullenia, and it's down to Ollie and the gang to sort it out. With the help of Deirdre Clownpuncher, the boys try to find out where everyone's gone before they, and maybe the entire town, disappears forever. In an adventure to test the hardiest of souls, our heroes must employ all of the guts and guile at their disposal to follow the clues which, seeing as they don't actually have any guts and guile, means they'll be relying on other people as usual.Join a cast of quite a few with whom you'll visit an interesting library, learn how Noggin hunts, and discover how ladies rate their hats in Intensive Scare, the sixth book in Tony Lewis's Skullenia series.
