365 Golden Bible Thoughts
God's Heart to Yours
by Katheryn Maddox Haddad
Part 1 of the Touching God series
Just a brief explanation of how these inspirational thoughts were organized. Each daily scripture was, based on the date. For example, March is the third month. Then on March 16th (3/16), the scripture for that day is John 3:16. You get the idea. Other than the above, the daily thoughts are not in order, such as with a story or building a theme. Therefore, you can begin using this book at any time of the year. May you feel as inspired in the reading as I was in the writing.

365 Silver-Winged Prayers: Your Spirit to God's
by Katheryn Maddox Haddad
Part 3 of the Touching God series
This third book in the trilogy, TOUCHING GOD is suggested prayers to end your time of devotion. Each prayer encourages praise, confession of sins, and thanksgiving. The sins included in this book are from the many lists of sins scattered through the Bible, especially the New Testament.I left out requests so you can add your own personal needs and observations. I highly encourage you to pray a little bit for yourself and a whole lot for other people. Pray through your congregation's membership directory, a nearby school's lists of teachers, administrators and maintenance staff, stories from your local newspaper, lists of state and federal officials, lists of missionaries, names of your neighbors, etc. I dare you to pray for 50 people, 100 people, 500 people. You do not need to explain each person's needs. God knows them. If all you can do is bring their name before the throne of God, then do that.Set aside time every day for prayer. It may be all in the morning, all in the evening, or scattered throughout the day.May these prayers help you along the way to connect with your Maker, your God, the Lover of your Soul. The beautiful cover is an original by famed watercolorist Betsy Kemp Thompson. Katheryn Maddox Haddad spends an average of 300 hours researching before she writes a historical novel-ancient historians such as Josephus, archaeological digs so she can know the layout of cities, their language culture and politics.Having grown up freezing in the northern United States, she now lives in Arizona where she doesn't have to shovel sunshine. She basks in 100-degree weather, palm trees, cacti, and a computer with most of the letters worn off.The author of over sixty books, both non-fiction and fiction, she sees no letup in the future. For many years, she has been sending out every morning a daily scripture and short inspirational thought to some 30,000 people around the world.Half of her day she spends writing, and the other half teaching English over the internet worldwide using the Bible as textbook. She has taught over 6000 Muslims through World English Institute. Students she has converted to Christianity are in hiding in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Somalia, Jordan, Pakistan, Palestine, and Tajikistan. "They are my heroes," she declares. With a bachelor's degree in English, Bible and social science from Harding University and part of a master's degree in Bible, including Greek, from the Harding Graduate School of Theology, she also has a master's degree in management and human relations from Abilene University. She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, Christian Writers of the West, and Historical Novel Society, and is also an energetic public speaker who can touch the heart of audiences.
