Red Line
by William C. Dietz
Part of the Winds of War series
In Red Line, the ninth volume of the Winds of War series, WWIII continues to rage as North Korean Respected Comrade Chung Hee Bak, launches a surprise attack on the south, hoping to roll over South Korea's capital city of Seoul, and loot it before the Allies can respond. And the plan works. And thanks to all of the fighting elsewhere, Bak figures he'll be able to hold onto the city of Seoul and expand from there.
But American President Alice Dearing has other ideas. Not only is she determined to fight, with help from Japan, but to occupy all of North Korea, and hold it until the war ends and the U.N. can step in.
It's an audacious plan and one which will depend on a brigade of soldiers from the U.S. Army's 11the Airborne Division to strike from the north, while Japanese marines land on the east coast of South Korea, and that country's special forces soldiers attack key targets.
Meanwhile, both Russia and China are working both overtly and covertly to assist Comrade Bak and prevent the Allies from securing a foothold in East Asia. Millions of lives are at stake as giants collide, and nothing is certain especially for LT. Colonel Mark Axton, and the Wolverine Battalion, who are the tip of the spear.

Red Rover

Part of the Winds of War series
THE THRILLING CONCLUSION TO THE WINDS OF WAR SERIES BY NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR WILLIAM C. DIETZ.
After attacking, and sinking the Destroyer USS Stacy Heath, the Chinese invaded Tibet. Within hours the United States and its allies declared war on China, even as Russian forces invaded Europe, and World War III began.
Two years have passed, and WWIII continues to rage. However, in spite of the many battles the Allies have won, China fights on.
The Allies are about to launch Operation Pyro, which will include guerilla attacks originating from Mongolia. But for that plan to succeed, the Allies will need support from China's Uyghur population, most of whom live in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. An area which is anything but autonomous, since approximately a million Uyghurs are confined to political education camps, pre-trial detention centers, and prisons. Their crime? Being Uyghurs.
Because the Junggar oil fields are located in the Xinjiang area as well, the newly freed Uyghurs will have plenty of high value targets to attack, including oil rigs, refineries, and storage tanks.
But first, Green Beret Detachment Commander Captain Nick Stone and his eleven-man team will have to free thousands of political prisoners and transform at least 60% of them into guerrilla fighters in two months.
Meanwhile, the daughter of a slain Uyghur leader attempts to take her father's place, and an ambitious businessman makes plans to seize control of China's oil fields when the war finally ends.
Millions are dead. And, if China continues to fight, the slaughter will continue. As Stone and his soldiers enter Mongolia, they know that the stakes are high. Their motto is "De Oppresso Liber." (To Free the Oppressed.)
And that's what they're determined to do.
